The Staffordshire Stallions had a day to forget as they were comfortably beaten by a well-organised Worcester Royals team 37-0 at the Stables. After the first winning season for the Stallions since 2009, the team were looking to build on that achievement with a good performance in the new Division 1 tier. However this wasn’t to be the case as the Royals rarely had to move out of first gear on both sides of the ball. Some positives that can be taken from the game would be the 2 fumbles forced by the defence, which were both recovered by DT Dan Tattersall and DB Michael Millers, and with many players playing in their 1st ever game for the Stallions, the experience of this game will hopefully lead to better performances throughout the season.
The Stallions play their next match at Home against the University of Nottingham on Sunday 22nd November, with Kickoff at 1pm.
