The best part of it is that you, as a student of Staffordshire University, can be part of it. Whether you have played the game before or you have no experience whatsoever that is no worry. We welcome potential players of all ages, levels of experience and size. There will be a position for you.

Once part of the team you will be given the required training to get up to a game-playing standard, if you put in the time you will notice a rapid improvement in your ability to play American Football.

We train three times a week so it is vital that you are committed and attend each and every training session to ensure that you are able to progress as both a player and as part of the team.

Playing American Football is not all that you will do as a Stallion. We regularly setup socials and enjoy a night out, getting to know each other and having a good time. It goes to help create a team bond that other teams we face may not have, giving us an upper hand before we head onto the field.

That isn't all. Each week during the NFL season we get together and enjoy the Sunday night coverage it's another opportunity to get to know each other and for new players to see how their position is played in the biggest league of them all.

If you are interested in trying the sport, we will be hosting a taster session for prospective players when we return to University in September, details of which will be finalised and displayed in and around the University beforehand.

We will have a stall at the Fresher's Fair in both Stoke and Stafford. This will be manned by current players of the teams and you will be able to get any questions answered as well as being able to register your interest in the taster session.
